Check out the piece I wrote for Coutorture on Nom de Guerre's Fall/Winter looks.

nice jeans

A good pair of jeans will never let you down. Like a good best friend, they're with you for all the terrible life choices as well as the good ones. Just treat them right and they'll never complain about all the gross stuff you make them sit in after a few cold sodas.

The Nom de Guerre classic fit jean is perfect. Wear them until your girlfriend who normally never questions your wardrobe ever so subtlety tells you to wash them or she will never talk to you again.

Everything is spot on with these jeans. The beautiful girl who always stands out at the party? She doesn’t have to tell you she’s beautiful does she? Branding is in quality and style. NDG always stands out in a crowd without being loud or ostentatious.

The one thing to remember about denim is it doesn't matter who made it or what Japanese mill wove it unless it fits you. I have a sneaking suspicion that girls notice if a guy's pants fit him. Keep it like the buddha-not too baggy not too tight. Leave the blown out jeans to the young guns and the cigarette jeans to the girls with nice legs.

nice jackets

Spring is on its way. For me this means rain and the occasional cold night. So I have a lot of anoraks and windbreakers. Here are a few I'd pick up.

This LRG jacket is cool. Although it may be a bit members only for some. The high collar is a good touch. Pick it up at karmaloop

Nom de guerre's anti-exposure anorak has a cool name and will make you wish you lived in seattle just because it rains a lot. Oki-ni has it.

I have an Arc'Teryx shell and I love it. They look cool and do their job really well. Get this light weight jacket at rei

nice blazers

Evidently, girls like boys who wear blazers. I have to say, they're on to something. A few quick rules. Fit, fit, and fit. Other than that, wear pretty much anything underneath it and you'll be okay.

Nom de guerre is the brand that, although spendy, will never really let you down. I normally prefer 3 buttons, but this 2 button blazer has a nice stance. This one I could wear everyday. Get it at Oki-ni.

I like gray. Plus everyone has a navy blue or black blazer. This Hope jacket is quite nice. Pick it up here.

This Opening Ceremony jacket may be navy, but I bet not too many of your friends have a knit wool blazer. The nice change of texture makes all the difference. Since I have a lot of jackets, this is the one I'd buy. You can buy it here.

nice sweaters

Spring is coming. Early spring is the perfect weather for a light sweater. Pack a nice blazer and you're like Macgyver, set for any occasion.

I really like this v-neck from Nom de Guerre. The graduated pattern is a nice take on sailor stripes.

I wouldn't mind getting sponsored by Nom de guerre. Again they give a cool take on a steady staple. Pick them both up at Oki-Ni.
