'you're so cool, you're so cool'

True Romance is certainly my favorite Tarantino film. I know he didn't direct it, but it his script. And it is amazing. Just look at the cast in the opening credits. Gary Oldman is a revelation in this film as Drexel. Hans Zimmer's soundtrack is spot on and the opening credit sequence is one of my favorites. Alabama's monologues are perfect bookends for the film. Beat for beat, this is my kind of movie.

I first saw this film in high school. I rocked the elvis sunglasses for a long time after this and still haven't found a girl who lists kung fu and Bruce Lee as turn-ons.

Wait, wait, wait! What girl doesn't like kung fu and Bruce Lee?!!! I don't want to live in a world where most lasses (and lads for that matter) don't.

Cath and I are pretty convinced we are related to Bruce. It's not just the last name thing (Lee, so very unique), our uncle looked exactly like him 30 years ago.
