my stuff

What's in my bag now: 1. Moleskin notebook. Because you can't just write on regular paper, can you? 2. Swiss Army knife. My dad always carries his in his briefcase. So I copy him. I remember when we convinced my mom that I was old enough to get a knife. That summer, I became quite adept at making bows and arrows out of sticks and branches. I also learned that when sharpening an arrow, one shouldn't take his eyes off the project. Seven stitches later and I have a scar with a story behind it. 3. My camera-you never know when you need it. 4. WWI style trench lighter. I don't even smoke, but I like to be prepared. Not only does it look cool, but it's pretty wind resistant too. 5. Pens and markers. Moleskins are cool, but they don't write on themselves...

My bag. I stole it from my parents. It's like a leather cross between a messenger bag and briefcase. I love that the handles slide down inside the bag when you don't need them.

What's in your bag?

OUCH seven stitches. Well you're a guy so you can rub some dirt in it and have pride! love your bag contents, so ready for action. Oh yes, once you go moleskine, you never go back (ok that didn't rhyme)

Really? This is not edited? Where are all the gum wrappers and old grocery lists? Umm..guess that would be my bag.
If I passed you while you were using that lighter, I'd feel compelled to say something like "The crow flies at midnight" to you. It's super spy looking.
That's a sharp bag.

I love seeing the things in other people's bags- totally feeds the voyeur in me. Plus, you're has a great retro vibe (bag + things). I once saw a great old cognac leather briefcase from Coach at an antique store. I passed because it was $50 and I wasn't planning on spending that much money, but I have regretted it ever since. So thanks for letting me live vicariously through your leather bag!

The only way to write is on a Smith-Corona Galaxies Deluxe, right?
